The Las Vegas Symphony Orchestra has the largest social media following of the three symphonies in the Las Vegas area, only in it's first year of modern existence.

ABOUT

The Las Vegas Symphony Orchestra was originally founded in late 1970’s in Las Vegas, Nevada. Being originally a pops – based orchestra, The Las Vegas Symphony Orchestra hosted many entertainment greats of that time period including Frank Sinatra, Pavarotti, Engelbert Humperdinck, Barry Manilow, and Elton John just to name a few.

The Las Vegas Symphony Orchestra was hosted for many years at the Riviera Casino showroom theater in which a lot of the magic took place. Most historically, notable concerts at the time was “Pavarotti in 1985 – Live with the Las Vegas Symphony Orchestra” which was televised. That’s was the first time that the Las Vegas Symphony Orchestra got international headlines. Secondly, the one off show when Frank Sinatra came from New York for a special night show special in 1980 at Caesars Palace. Sinatra – Live with the Las Vegas Symphony Orchestra. And Elton John – Live with the Las Vegas Symphony Orchestra in 1993. Engelbert Humperdinck continues to use the orchestra ensemble of the Las Vegas Symphony Orchestra for the duration of his Rivera Casino Vegas residency throughout the 1980s.

The Las Vegas Symphony Orchestra made headlines after breaking grounds of some of recognized classical concert ever performed in the city as well. The Las Vegas Symphony Orchestra was also a key player in developing that symphonic pops sound.

The Las Vegas Symphony Orchestra, unfortunately, ended in the late 1990s and a change of culture, and the music goers, began to turn a different direction. It wasn’t until 2016 when entrepreneur/Broadway producer Shea Arender took an interest in the orchestra after working with the Harold Arlen estate. Arender expressed an interest. In purchasing the entity of the Las Vegas Symphony Orchestra, and hopes to bring back its old glory. Many new shows were then created and launched through the Las Vegas Symphony Orchestra. Including “The King Symphonic” The Music of Elvis Presley and Sons of Mozart – The Untold Musical Journeys also created by CEO Shea Arender.

The Las Vegas Symphony Orchestra was the first orchestra in the state of Nevada to ever release an original album with original modern classical compositions. CEO Shea Arender & Mike Binder composed the songs for the 2 albums.
